I borrowed an air mattress from a friend and after using it for 2 days I noticed that it was getting deflated at night.

Time To Change To A Waterbed Air Mattress?
A waterbed air mattress can be a good replacement for an old waterbed mattress, or just a new choice for your bed. These air mattresses are specifically designed to be able to fit into water bed frames, making it very convenient to change your mattress from a water-filled one to an air-filled one. In particular, these air mattresses are sized to fit snugly into a hard side waterbed’s wooden frame.
Your waterbed can be rendered unusable in many ways. Ordinary wear and tear as you use it over the years can eventually cause defects in the mattress. Heaters have been known to malfunction and burn holes through mattress bladders.
These heaters, furthermore, need to be turned on all the time, especially in cold locations, to keep the water and the occupants warm. Touching the water bladder directly will feel really cold against your skin; try it if you must, but it will be unpleasant. Sheets help, but do not alleviate this problem completely.
Waterbeds are quite heavy when full. This means that they often cannot be used on higher floors, as their full weight may prove too much for the floor. There have also been incidents of overfilled beds breaking their bed frames under their weight. Waterbeds are generally unwieldy, apart from their weight, they usually take a long time to fill or drain. So transporting a water bed can be a major ordeal that can take half a day or more.
Older waterbeds are also quite unstable, exhibiting ripples and wave motion when you shift weight or move on top of them. While this may be pleasant for some people, it can make it hard to get to sleep if your bed moves whenever you do!
